Dusty is a dog who is often seen around Pontypandy, and only appeared in the fifth series.
Personality
Dusty is a jovial and playful dog, but can also be bit of a sleepyhead. He's shown to love any kinds of treats. Being a dog, Dusty doesn't always understand that there are consequences of his actions, which sometimes can lead to trouble. For example in Twist of Fate, Dusty, in an attempt to steal Norman's lunch, tore a hole in his backpack, which made Norman lose his extra batteries. Despite this, Dusty is also extremely loyal to his friends.

- Being a stray dog would explain why Dilys is so against having Dusty around her shop, as seen in A Real Live Wire.
- Dusty is the first dog to appear in Fireman Sam and the only dog that appeared in the Stop-Motion series.
- In the Norwegian dub, his name is changed to Rusken.
- In the Polish dub, his name is changed to Morus.
